Manchester United are set to be without Marcus Rashford until October as he prepares to finally undergo surgery on his long-standing shoulder problem.

Rashford struggled with the injury last season but delayed an operation in order to take part in the Three Lions Euro 2020 bid.

Following his participation in the Euro 2020, Rashford is set for a two week summer break, after which he is expected to undergo surgery.

Rashford could miss as many as 16 games for club and country, including eight Premier League matches, three Champions League group games, one Carabao Cup tie and England’s first five World Cup qualifiers.
