Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on signing Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier but the Red Devils are unwilling to meet Atletico Madrid’s asking price for the 30 year old.
According to Manchester Evening News, Trippier is confident of joining Manchester United this summer.
The report also claims Trippier has no intention of joining United just to provide back-up for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Manchester United coaches are unsatisfied with Wan-Bissaka’s attacking output and that is reportedly the reason why the Red Devils are making a move for Trippier.
Trippier started in every Atletico game he was available for last season as they won their first La Liga title in seven years and he was selected in England’s European Championship opener and the final.
