Manchester United have since reached agreement with Borussia Dortmund for a the sale of Jadon Sancho, with both clubs settling for a fee of £73m.
We brought you report stating why the deal for Jadon Sancho was a very important one for the club to make ahead of the new season. You can read that here.
Sancho brings a lot to the table, and we’d take a look at what the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson had said about the 21-year-old back in June ahead of the Euro 2020 tournament.
The former United boss told SportBild: “I think a lot of Jadon Sancho. With his one-on-one duels, as an assister and scorer, he is extremely dangerous.
“He has so much potential, he helps the team. That’s why he’ll be valuable to England over the course of the tournament.”
Ferguson definitely has an eye for a top talent, and if he says Sancho is extremely dangerous, then we have a bullet in our hands.
