Manchester United transfer target Eduardo Camavinga prefers a move to Spanish side Real Madrid.
According to Manchester Evening News, discussions between Manchester United and the representatives of Camavinga have not been encouraging, with the player favouring a move to Spain instead of Manchester.
Manchester United remain confident of signing the teenager as a move to Spain would be difficult for Camavinga to achieve due to the financial issues Real Madrid and Barcelona are facing.
Camavinga is one of the hottest young prospects in world football at the moment, having shone in the heart of Rennes’ midfield last season.
Despite his young age, Camavinga played 35 times in Ligue 1 and made four Champions League appearances, including against eventual champions Chelsea.
Camavinga has just one year left on his Rennes contract and the French side are hoping to cash in this summer to avoid losing the teenager for free next summer.
