Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood had started the season with a bang, with two goals in the first two games of the season.
Greenwood was in very good form against the Saints and scored the leveller for Manchester United in the second half.
Greenwood’s goal marked his 30th for Manchester United, and only two other players in Norman Whiteside and George Best have reached that tally before their 20th birthday.
Liverpool legend Graeme Sounness has hailed the performance of Greenwood and believes that the young forward would only keep getting better and better.
“The next stage in his development is making a position in the first XI his own,” Souness said.
“He gets goals, he is a clean striker of the ball, he’s got that sixth sense that all the top men have.
“He can only get better and better. What is not to like about him?
“He has got attributes to be a real player for United. He is clinical and I think that is what puts him ahead of all the other strikers in that team for me.
“Ok, Cavani, but he’s coming to an end so I see a big, big future for him United.”
