West Ham have reportedly given up on a transfer for Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard and are now looking at signing an alternative.
Lingard claimed nine goals and five assists in 16 games for West Ham on loan last season and the London side had been keen on signing him on a permanent deal this summer.
According to Daily Mail, West Ham have held talks over a deal for CSKA Moscow forward Nikola Vlasic as they seek an alternative to Lingard.
The Croatia international, formerly of Everton, was a target for AC Milan earlier this window and CSKA want around £25million.
Lingard has just one year left on his Manchester United contract.
