Manchester United made a stunning move on the even of transfer deadline day to sign up Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
Ronaldo was reportedly on his way to Manchester City before United hijacked the deal late on, with the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson believed to have played a huge role in the deal.
Meanwhile, a close friend of Cristiano Ronaldo, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has revealed that the move had been planned a month ago.
According to RT, the former UFC fighter told reporters in Moscow; “A month ago, he told me that he was moving to Manchester United.
“I expected this deal to take place. I think that Manchester United is more suitable for him than Juventus. For me, the transition was not a surprise.”
Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 games for Juventus, winning two Serie A titles, a Coppa Italia, two Italian Super Cups and a Serie A golden boot during his time at the club.
