Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes isn’t worried his performances for the Red Devils will suffer following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo scored a brace and Bruno was also on the scoresheet as Manchester United beat Newcastle United 4-1 on Saturday at Old Trafford.

There had been a suggestion that Ronaldo’s arrival could affect Bruno’s performances, but he insists there was never any threat of that happening.

“Everyone knows what Cristiano Ronaldo brought for the club and we are really happy to have him,” Bruno told Sky Sports.

“The most important, as he will say, is the result for the team. Good players can always play well together.”
