Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo equalled a record held by former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba after he scored and assisted a goal in Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Opta, Ronaldo (36yr 267days) is the oldest player to both score and assist a goal in a Premier League game since Didier Drogba in December 2014 – who was also 36y 267d and also did so against Spurs.

Ronaldo is now up to 125 goals in total for Manchester United across his two spells at the club.

This is now just one behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United tally of 126.

Ronaldo has already overtaken Andy Cole (121) since his return.
