City sweat, as Man United raise interest in their midfielder
Manchester City are worried, as rivals, Manchester United try to lure one of their top rated talents, James McAtee, to Old Trafford.
The 19 year old is one of the most rated players at the City Academy, and they’re dying to tie him down to a new long-term deal. However, things haven’t moved as anticipated with him, as Man United and Liverpool reportedly want him too.
McAtee wants first team football— something he’s not sure he’ll enjoy at City any time soon, with their midfield already boasting names like Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Rodri.
City are offering McAtee an increase on his current £8,000 a week pay, but so far, he doesn’t look like accepting it, The Sun adds.
The young midfielder has been compared to City legend, David Silva, due to his ability to see spaces even in the tightest areas.
