Revealed: What Ronaldo told United teammates after scoring against Tottenham

Cristiano Ronaldo is taking up a leadership role at Manchester United, and we love to see it!
The Portuguese was on target during our 3-0 victory against Tottenham last weekend, netting the opening goal, before assisting one for Edinson Cavani.
And according to The Athletic, Ronaldo helped the team to the win by urging his teammates to remain calm and keep their heads, after scoring the goal.
The message, believed to have come as a result of what happened against Leicester City, where United lost 4-2, despite scoring first, was vital to getting the victory, as Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford also got on the score sheet, to ensure United took all three points.
Aside the message after the goal, the report also says that Ronaldo was seen telling his teammates to create more width to stretch Spurs’ defence.
It’s was just the type of performance we expected from Ronaldo, and we’re happy he’s being the leader he’s been brought in to be in the team.
