Former Chelsea striker blames Manchester United midfielder for too many sloppy passes
Manchester United managed to get a 2-2 draw against Atalanta in the Champions League group H clash against Atalanta on Wednesday night.
The draw was enough to ensure United remained on top of the table, but it was another insipid performance that was only rescued by the brilliance of Ronaldo.
Paul Pogba didn’t have a good game and was too sloppy on the ball, and attracted heavy criticism from a section of the fans and pundits, including Paul Scholes, who couldn’t hide his disappointment.
Ex- England International, Eni Aluko also seemed to concur with Scholes, adding “I agree with Paul, it has been sloppy.
“That goal [Ronaldo’s] is an indication of what Manchester United can do but it has been sloppy, particularly Pogba.
“He’s given away another chance that could have led to a goal as well.”
Pogba was eventually substituted on the 68th minute, but truly, if it weren’t for Ronaldo, tonight could have ended woefully.
Let’s ole to leave the club and if he doesn’t go let’s know what to do as Manchester United fans
