Paul Scholes reveals big problem Man Utd have ahead of Man City clash. Scholes predicted the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has revealed the big problem Manchester United face ahead of this weekend’s Manchester derby.
Scholes predicted Manchester United’s 5-0 defeat to Liverpool and have now revealed the problem in the Manchester United team ahead of the game against Manchester City.
According to Scholes, Manchester United’s defence crumbled after Raphael Varane’s injury against Atalanta and he believes that’s a big concern ahead of the game against Manchester City.
Speaking on BT Sport after the 2–2 draw against Atalanta, Paul Scholes said: “As soon as Raphael Varane went off, it went all over the place, really shaky.
“Harry Maguire just doesn’t look right, and I don’t want to say it again, but with no Varane on Saturday it has to be a worry.
“If you’re Pep Guardiola you would think you have a good chance to win. Manchester City think that anyway, at any point it will be a difficult game.
“But with no Varane in the squad it is going to be more difficult at Old Trafford — but saying that, they do have the quality to score.”
