‘You don’t keep a £73m investment to rot on the bench’ — Message sent to Solskjaer
Manchester United signed up Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window, in what was a big money move by the club.
The England international moved to Old Trafford in a £73m deal from Borussia Dortmund, but has found it difficult in his first few months at the Theatre of Dreams. The 21-year-old has made just three Premier League starts and three more in the Champions League, and is yet to open his account for the club.
Sancho is yet to find the form that made Manchester United pay £73m for his services, and has since lost his place in the Manchester United starting team.
However, former Manchester United ace Paul Parker has told United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to find a way to work with Sancho.
Parker questioned Sancho’s situation at the club, with the 21 year old, still struggling to start, after ten Premier League games.
He said, “I don’t know what Jadon Sancho is doing in training to stop him from starting, but you don’t want to let a £73m investment sit around for so long.”
