“It’s not good enough” – Bruno Fernandes gives verdict on under-pressure Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has admitted Manchester United haven’t been good enough this season but insist it’s not only the fault of Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
According to Fernandes, the players should also be blamed for Manchester United’s inconsistency this season as they should be doing better.
“He [Solskjaer] is a great person and everyone knows the human part of him,” Bruno Fernandes said.
“It’s normal people get upset because the results don’t come but it’s too easy to blame only the coach, because we [the players] go on the pitch, we should do better.
“We got second placed last season, no one was expecting to do as a good a season as we did.
“It wasn’t as good as what we want, but overall no one was expecting us to finish in second and be so close to Man City.
“For me, overall he [Solskjaer] is doing a good job and he’s being a big influence on the team since he arrived.
“We’re still dropping points at home and it’s not good enough, but it’s not only the coaches fault.”
