Solskjaer reveals the secret to beating Manchester City
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned that his Manchester United side must begin on the front foot if we aim to get a positive result against today’s opponents, Manchester City.
The last time we played Pep Guardiola’s men in the league, we won 2-0, thanks to goals from Bruno Fernándes and Luke Shaw, but Solskjaer knows it’s never an easy task to come up against the reigning champions, and has warned we must start well if we want to get a good result.
He told the media ahead of the game: “It’s a special one.
“The last time we had a Manchester derby with fans in the stadium the atmosphere was electric, everyone will still remember that one more than dark moments we had.
“When Scott [McTominay] scored that goal in the extra time it was a special moment. It’s a one-off game, have to start on the front foot, ready, because a lot depends on who gets on the front foot.”
