“We are not at the same level as Man City” – Man Utd player claims after 2-0 defeat to Man City

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has claimed Manchester United are not on the same level as Manchester City.

Manchester City beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday thanks to an early own goal from Eric Bailly and a bizarre second goal from in-form midfielder Bernardo Silva.

“They showed us today we are not at the same level,” he admitted to BBC Sport.

“They played well, they don’t give you opportunities to win the ball off them so praise to them but (our) standards need to be raised.”
