Chelsea legend John Terry trolls Manchester United after our defeat against Manchester City
Chelsea legend John Terry has trolled Manchester United fans on Twitter following our 2-0 defeat to rivals Manchester City.
The defeat means the Red Devils have lost four of our last six top-flight matches, leaving us trailing Terry’s former club and leave leaders Chelsea by nine points.
The former Blues captain who recently joined Twitter didn’t hesitate to fire back at the United fans, and one in particular who posted a picture of his infamous Champions League final penalty miss against Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in 2008.
Replying to the tweet, Terry wrote: “That’s the Man Utd fans after today and realising your (sic) 5 years away from catching Chelsea.”
The Blues legend went further to add to our misery by mocking our playing style and poor form this season when former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen welcomed him to Twitter.
Commenting on the gap between United and City, Terry said: “Two teams who are worlds apart.
“Man City are a joy to watch in possession, and a great example to teams nowhere near as good as them out of possession.
“Pep drives and demands that from every single player, every ship needs one captain and he is the best.”
