Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has spoken out after Manchester United’s embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
The Englishman has sent a message of gratitude apparently to the Manchester United fans urging them to keep faith with the team during our torrid spell.
The United defender went on to thank the fans for their support and also assured them that the team will bounce back to their best.
“As a group of players we are going through a tough period,” tweeted Harry Maguire on Sunday after our humiliating defeat to Pep Guardiola’s side about 24 hours ago.
“We know and accept this is nowhere near good enough.
“We feel your frustration and disappointment, we are doing everything we can to put things right and we will put things right.
“Thanks for your support.”
