Pep Guardiola mocks Manchester United as he explains reason for easy victory

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola couldn’t hold back his words after his Manchester City side beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

City dominated the game from start to finish, and could have even won by a higher margin.

Pep Guardiola has claimed the reason for United’s loss is because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side doesn’t know how to dominate and control games. In fact, the City boss claimed United only wait to capitalise on mistakes to win them in previous derby games.

“Let me be gentle,” said Pep Guardiola in his interview after Manchester City humiliated Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

“The [derby] games have been quite similar even in the previous seasons where they have beaten us.

“They wait for a mistake to punish us, they never control the game.

“Maybe because they respect us, which is a big compliment.”
