Report: Manchester United board make fresh Solskjaer decision after latest defeat
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future as Manchester United manager usually becomes uncertain after a defeat, and it got worse after the 5-0 bashing from Liverpool.
United have now suffered another defeat as Solskjaer’s side were totally outplayed by Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday. However, despite the recent bad results, Solskjaer’s job is still safe.
According to The Independent, there is nothing going on behind the scenes at Manchester United in relation to the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite our embarrassing loss to Manchester City.
In fact, further details of the report claim the United hierarchy have no intentions of sacking the Norwegian, and also have ‘no plan B’ in terms of managerial change at least until the end of the season.
The United board is said to have no idea on what to do next as calls for Solskjaer to be sacked have intensified after our poor display against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick and Roberto Mancini have been touted as possible replacements for the under-fire Red devils Boss.
