See how Manchester United fans reacted to news that Manchester United have ‘reached verbal agreement with Premier League manager to become Manchester United manager’

Many fans of Manchester United have shared their opinions on the potential appointment of Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers as replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Foxes’ boss has been linked with the role for some time now, following United’s recent struggles under Solskjaer.
A new report by Caught Offside reveals that the former Liverpool manager ‘reached a verbal agreement’ to become our boss once Solskjaer is shown the exit.
The report adds that while Rodgers is interested in the offer, he wants to wait until the end of the season before taking over, although the club appears to want him sooner.
Since the report surfaced, fans of Manchester United have taken to twitter to express their different views on the possible appointment, with many unhappy with it because they don’t think he is a big club manager.
There are also some others who have a problem with an Ex- Liverpool manager coming to Man United, especially given the historic rivalry between both clubs.
One fan wrote:
‘If #Solskjaer does go, then Brendan Rodgers isn’t the answer. Fine coach and manager, but he managed Liverpool and that should be a no no. We should not have castoffs from Liverpool.’

Others said:
‘Brendan Rodgers isn’t the right man for the United job IMO. We don’t need another manager with a history of losing at the final hurdle, we simply need a winner who’s a good man manager and will make United ruthless.’
— FPL Seraph (@fpl_seraph)
‘Not many managers would be a downgrade from Ole but Brendan Rodgers and Gareth Southgate are definitely two of them’
— Vlad (@PogVlad)
‘We all know United are run by clowns and if we actually go ahead and sign Brendan Rodgers it will just reconfirm they have no football knowledge and do not give a f— about the club being successful. He’s bang average.’
— Ryan Knowles (@ryanknowles_)
Tweets in support of the potential appointment noted:
‘Why would Brendan Rodgers be awful? He is tactically astute, plays good attacking football and is a solid league manager who commands respect.’
— Redmanchester (@Redmanchester__)
‘I actually think Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit for United. 4-6 years at United and I see him winning something of note, IMO.’

Brendan no better Ten
Why is its interested in only average coaches? B.R isn’t a serial winner.
