According to football journalist, Fabrizo Romano, Ralf Rangnick isn’t the favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the Norwegian is fired.
While Rangnick is admired by the Manchester United board, they have become aware of the German’s demands, and are not entirely willing to meet them.
The 63 year old reportedly wants to have full control of everything at United if he’s hired, ranging from how players behave, to transfers.
Fabrizo also adds that Brendan Rodgers remains a target for United, although there’s a longstanding interest in Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
For now, Solskjaer, who is currently on vacation, is still in charge at Old Trafford, as the club doesn’t plan to sack him yet, unless UEFA Champions League qualification becomes a problem.
