Top Manchester United player won’t play for the club until 2022
Paul Pogba will not be featuring for Manchester United until 2022, after sustaining an injury while on international duty with the French national team, according to reports.
The midfielder injured his thigh during a shooting drill while training with France, ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Finland.
Pogba had to be taken out of the field immediately, and after initial tests, it’s been discovered that the injury could keep him away for 8 to 10 weeks.
Pogba started the season well with Manchester United, recording 5 assists in our 5-1 demolition of Leeds, but subsequently, underwhelming appearances have seen him start from the bench sometimes.
The future of the 28 year old is also uncertain at the moment, as contract talks appear to have stalled, amid interest from other clubs.
His absence will surely be missed, but hopefully, it’s just not as bad as is being reported at the moment.
