Champions League club eyeing January move for Edinson Cavani

According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, La Liga side Sevilla are interested in signing Manchester United veteran striker Edinson Cavani in January.

The Spanish side are eager to bring the Uruguayan to the Ramon Sanchéz Pizjúan Stadium as cover for injured striker Youssef En-Nesyri who has been ruled out for three months.

So far, El Matador has scored 11 goals in 36 appearances for the Red devils and been an outstanding player for the club since joining over a year ago.

It remains to be seen if the club will let him leave midway through the season.
