Cristiano Ronaldo reacts after Portugal failed to beat Republic of Ireland

Manchester United ace, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted, following Portugal’s goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland.
The Portuguese took to his instagram to share a message with the fans after the game, to state his disappointment in the outcome, as he was also adamant that his team would bounce back at home.
His message read, “It’s always difficult to play in Ireland, but the point leaves our goals at our mercy.
“On Sunday, in front of our own fans and in our house, we will stamp our presence at the World Cup in Qatar. Forza, Portugal!”
Ireland, who are already out of the qualification race for the 2022 World Cup, came closest to scoring in the game through Chiedozie Ogbene and Enda Stevens, while Mark Doherty also had a late goal disallowed.
Ronaldo also missed a late chance, and Portugal came down to 10 men, following a Pepe red card late on, after he was shown two yellow cards.
