
Scotland head coach Steve Clarke has confirmed Manchester United star Scott McTominay will miss his country’s World Cup qualifier against Denmark on Monday due to a serious health concern.
The Red Devils midfielder is suffering from throat virus that he suffered prior to their game against Moldova which he also missed.
“Scott is definitely out,” the Scotland boss said at his press conference. “Scott hasn’t recovered enough from his virus.”
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be sweating on the player’s fitness ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Watford at Vicarage Road.
