Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal failed to qualify automatically for the World Cup following the 2-1 defeat to Serbia on Sunday night.

Portugal will have to qualify for the next year’s World Cup in Qatar via the play-offs after a stoppage-time header from Aleksandar Mitrovic secured a dramatic 2-1 victory for the Serbs at the Estadio da Luz.

According to Daily Mail, Ronaldo was caught on camera fuming at Portugal boss Fernando Santos after their damaging defeat by Serbia in Lisbon.

Ronaldo was caught on camera shouting and gesticulating furiously with his arms towards the Portugal boss following the defeat to Serbia. The Portugal boss quickly walks off after a brief handshake with Ronaldo.

Ronaldo then puts his hands on his hips before making his way towards the other players and the tunnel with his dejection still clear for all to see.
