Raphael Varane shares injury update ahead of Watford clash
Manchester United centre back, Raphael Varane, has given fans a glimpse of his recovery process, as we continue to look forward to his return to action.
Varane initially sustained a groin injury, which kept him away for weeks, before he made a return in the 3-0 win against Tottenham.
The France International, however, picked up a hamstring injury during the 2-2 draw away at Atalanta, and is now expected to be away for quite some time.
But his recovery appears to be going well, as the defender recently took to his instagram to share a photo of himself working out on a training bicycle, with the caption, “Turn frustration into motivation and come back stronger!”
Varane is just one of four players Man United could be without when we face Watford this weekend.
Luke Shaw is a doubt for the game, after missing England’s World Cup qualifiers against Albania and San Marino due to a concussion, while Paul Pogba (thigh injury) is expected to be out until next year. Edinson Cavani is also out of the game, as he continues to deal with a tendon issue.
