Two Manchester United players major doubts for Watford clash, after withdrawing from international duty
Manchester United pair, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay are doubts for our clash against Watford after the international break, after withdrawing from international duty with their respective national sides due to fitness issues.
Shaw is yet to recover from the concussion he suffered against Manchester City, and didn’t play for England against San Marino on Monday evening.
As for McTominay, the midfielder is still suffering from an illness, and was absent on the pitch when Scotland played Denmark on Monday.
The good news for both players is that their different teams won the matches convincingly, even in their absence. Scotland beat Denmark 2-0, while England thrashed San Marino 10-0.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will however, be sweating over their condition, and hoping they recover in time for the game against Watford on Saturday.
United are also without Paul Pogba, who is expected to be out for the remainder of the year, while Edinson Cavani is also not fully fit yet.
