Manchester United players are reportedly surprised by the way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has treated Jesse Lingard this season, despite his talent.
Lingard has started just once in the Carabao Cup for United this season, despite scoring twice in five Premier League games.
According to Telegraph, some United players believe that Solskjaer isn’t making good use of the midfielder, especially with the current struggles in the team.
The players are of the opinion that Lingard deserves more, after his heroics while on loan at West Ham last season.
The Englishman is almost out of contract with United, and could be on his way out of the club next year, with West Ham said to be keen to buy him.
Negotiations are still ongoing for a new deal, but with the way things are, it’s doubtful he’ll want to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
