Former West Ham player predicts where Manchester United will finish if Solskjaer stays until the end of the season
Former West Ham defender, Neil Ruddock, has backed the Hammers to finish above Manchester United in the race for top four, as long as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains our manager.
The Hammers are currently third on the Premier League table, after inflicting a 3-2 defeat on Liverpool on the last match day before the international break.
David Moyes’ side have a six-point lead over United in the race for a Champions League finish, and Ruddock is adamant things will not change for United if Solskjaer isn’t fired as manager of the Red Devils.
He told the All To Play For podcast, “I can see West Ham beating Manchester United to a top 4 finish.
“As long as Ole’s at the wheel. If Ole’s at the wheel up there, then West Ham will have a great chance.
“Ole’s at the wheel, at the wheel, Ole’s at the wheel. It’s got nothing to do with West Ham, but if he’s at the wheel.”
West Ham have been brilliant all season, so we can’t even blame Ruddock for his claim.
United are back in action on Saturday when we play Watford, and many will be hoping for some improvement.
