Angry Jesse Lingard’s brother slams fans
Jesse Lingard was in top form while on loan to West Ham last, but United may end up losing the 28-year-old attacking midfielder.
Lingard has shown that he can be an important player for Manchester United this season and has already scored two league goals despite having not started a league game this season. But United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has failed to give much playing time as promised to Lingard.
According to Sky Sports, Jesse Lingard’s contract talks with Manchester United are on hold after discussions over a new deal have so far failed to find a resolution.
According to Sky Sports News, both parties “remain willing to work through it” amid the impasse in discussions.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at the Hammers, scoring nine and assisting five, and Lingard has been linked with a move to the London club yet again.
Surprisingly, some West Ham fans believe David Moyes’ side is fine without Lingard, and Jesse Lingard’s brother has hit back at West Ham United supporters who don’t want the club to sign the Manchester United ace in January.
And Lingard’s brother, Louie, has hit back, responding to a West Ham fan page on Instagram stating: “From the comments I can see that most would believe use [sic] don’t need him and wouldn’t even start.
“Exact same was said before he last came. Staggering to see that many don’t actually want him either. Firmly noted.”
