Jesse Lingard ‘confirms’ his new club, as £10 million offer awaits in January
Jesse Lingard has hinted at where his next club would be, after uploading just one photo of himself on Instagram.
The 28 year old is one of many Manchester United players seeking a departure from the club in January, after finding it hard to play regularly under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lingard had a brilliant loan spell with West Ham in the second half of last season, but Man United refused to sell him permanently to the London club.
Solskjaer also promised he would play more this season, but the midfielder hasn’t seen any improvements thus far as regards playing time.
To be fair, United did want to keep Lingard, as they offered him a contract extension, but the player turned it down because it is less than what he currently earns at Old Trafford with a lack of assurance over his minutes on the pitch.
According to The Sun, the Englishman has already made a transfer request, and a £10 million bid is expected from West Ham in January.
Meanwhile, Lingard has hinted at the potential move already, after taking to his instagram to share a photo of himself celebrating in the London club’s jersey.
