More trouble for Ole as Man United suffer 4-1 defeat to Watford
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be sweating in his pants, after seeing Watford beat Manchester United 4-1 on Saturday evening.
The Norwegian has been under massive pressure this season, following a string of poor results in United’s last 9 Premier League matches.
One-sided losses to Liverpool, Leicester City and Manchester City put Solskjaer’s future under scrutiny, but the United board held back the axe, in hope that things will improve.
United were favorites going into the game on Saturday, but a lacklustre start from the Red Devils saw the hosts take the lead through Joshua King in the 28th minute.
Ismaila Saar made it 2-0 to Watford before halftime, but Donny van de Beek pulled one back for United in the 50th minute.
And just as things seemed set to improve, a reckless challenge from Harry Maguire on Tom Cleverly, got him sent off after receiving a second yellow.
Two more goals from Junqueira de Jesus and Denis Bonaventure made it 4 for Watford, as we slipped to yet another terrible defeat this season.
