Marcus Rashford and David de Gea send message to Solskjaer after his exit from the club

Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and David de Gea have become the first Man United players to speak after the sacking of former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian was sacked by the United board on Sunday, a day after the embarrassing 1-4 loss to Watford.

Englishman Rashford wrote a tribute message on Twitter to the Norwegian: “Club legend.”

Spanish goalie David De Gea wrote an emotional message for his former manager, tweeting: “You always gave everything and everyone knows you are a legend at @ManUtd”

Meanwhile, Michael Carrick has been appointed as interim manager until the end of the season.
