No Zidane, Rodgers or Ten Hag as Man Utd reveal plans after sacking Solskjaer

Manchester United confirmed on Sunday morning that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as Manchester United boss.

Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag have all being linked as replacements for Solskjaer.

However, a statement from Manchester United following the dismissal of Solskjaer has revealed the club will be seeking an interim manager until the end of the season instead of a permanent manager.

Rodgers, Zidane and Ten Hag are reportedly not interested in the Manchester United job until the end of the season.

Michael Carrick will take charge of the team as a caretaker as ahead of our Champions League game against Villarreal in midweek before the Red Devils announce an interim manager until the end of the season.

Early contenders for the interim job include Laurent Blanc and Ralf Rangnick.
