Why Manchester United players cried in the dressing room after 4-1 defeat to Watford
Manchester United players and staff cried in the dressing room following Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.
According to Manchester Evening News via The Mirror, some players and staff were in tears in the dressing room following the defeat to Watford because they believe the Watford game could be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s last game in charge of Manchester United.
Solskjaer cut a resigned figure on the touchline after watching his Manchester United team capitulate late on against Watford at Vicarage Road.
Solskjaer survived the embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Liverpool but he might not survive the 4-1 defeat to Watford after the Manchester United board held an emergency meeting on Saturday night following the defeat to Watford.
Solskjaer walked over to the away end at full-time and waved to the fans in the crowd, apologising for the team’s performance in his post-match interview.
The latest defeat to Watford means United have picked up only four points away from Old Trafford since September 25 — the worst record of any Premier League side. The Red Devils have also lost five of our last seven matches in the Premier League.
if its true about the man utd players crying after the defeat to watford its seems to me to be out of guilt at the team not trying hard enough to win the match as opposed to losing to a lesser team and so they should be ashamed , after all they are paid fantastic wages to be proud to wear the red shirt and badge of the biggest club in world football so every man utd player should hang their heads in shame i only hope is that the next manager works them until they drop and sanctions put on them if they dont preform to man utd standards
