Ajax boss Erik ten Hag is on Manchester United’s managerial shortlist of potential replacements for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer was sacked by the Red Devils on Sunday morning after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.

According to Daily Mail, Erik ten Hag is interested in becoming Manchester United boss but will only accept the job in the summer as he doesn’t want to leave Ajax in the middle of the season.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino and Ralf Rangnick, currently head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow, are among the other contenders for the Manchester United job.
