Man Utd ready to keep Michael Carrick as boss if this happens
Manchester United are in a search for a permanent replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was sacked as Manchester United boss on Sunday morning.
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, Ajax boss Erik ten Hag are some of the names on the managerial shortlist.
Manchester United immediately appointed former midfielder Michael Carrick as caretaker boss until a replacement for Solskjaer is found.
Carrick will be in charge of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Villarreal and according to Daily Mail, he could carry on as interim boss until the end of the season if results go well.
Manchester United’s next three games are against Villarreal, Chelsea and Arsenal.
