Chelsea boss not thinking about playing Manchester United

Manchester United board had seen enough as they decided it was time to let to go of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. This is the fourth time United will be sacking a manager since Sir Alex Ferguson left the job in 2013, as the Old Trafford outfit decided to sack Solskjaer after a poor start to the campaign.

Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday, with another club legend Michael Carrick appointed on a caretaker basis.

United have a Champions League meeting with Villarreal on Tuesday and after that is a weekend clash against Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has said he’s not thinking of facing Manchester United just yet.

While addressing the media ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Juventus, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel did not want to speak about Solskjaer and was only focused on facing the Italian giants.

Asked what he made of United’s decision, he replied: “Well, not too much actually because we had an away game on Saturday and a home game on Tuesday and then we play Man United so we don’t think about Man United today or tomorrow.

“We are pretty occupied with preparing the Juventus game and I will not comment on this decision and other clubs’ coaching decisions, it’s simply not my job to do.”
