Manchester United provisional squad for Champions League clash against Villarreal revealed
Manchester United’s provisional squad for our Champions League match against La Liga side Villarreal have been revealed.
The club traveled with a 24-man squad for the game against Villarreal with notable abstentees.
Veteran striker Edinson Cavani has been ruled out of the game after failing to recover in time to play, while defender Luke Shaw wasn’t part of the travelling squad after sustaining a head injury against Watford.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries, while Mason Greenwood is also out after recently testing positive for Covid-19.
