Following the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United midfielder, Donny van de Beek, is reconsidering his future at the club.

Van de Beek was one of a number of players ostracised from Solskjaer’s starting eleven, but with the Norwegian now gone, the Daily Mail reports that he is reconsidering his stance on leaving.

The report comes after he made a start in United’s 2-0 win away to Villareal on Tuesday, even if he wasn’t particularly impressive.

Van de Beek made just six appearances under Solskjaer this season, but the future does seem promising for him now.

Mauricio Pochettino, who is United’s number one target to replace Solskjaer on a permanent basis, is also a huge admirer of the midfielder, so it does seem like there’s good reason to stay.

United play Chelsea next at the weekend, and it will be interesting to see if he starts or not.
