Ex-Manchester United forward, Louis Saha has given his verdict on the managerial qualities of our current caretaker boss, Michael Carrick.
Carrick was appointed caretaker manager, as United parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after last weekend’s 4-1 loss to Watford.
Carrick’s reign kicked off with a brilliant 2-0 win against Villareal on Tuesday, and Saha, who played with him at Old Trafford for two years believes he has what it takes to be a successful manager.
Speaking to 101greatgoals.com, the Frenchman said, ‘Yes, he was always a very smart lad. He was eager to learn and he’s very patient in the way he goes about things.
“He doesn’t create any mayhem and he’s very diplomatic.
“He’s perhaps not the most vocal but he’s very analytical and was always analysing everything – you can see he always wanted to learn and on he learned from the very best so he’s a great asset for the club.”
United are set to appoint Ralf Rangnick as new interim manager, but Carrick is expecting to oversee the weekend’s game against Chelsea.
