PSG reveal condition for Pochettino to become Manchester United boss
According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain will not allow Mauricio Pochettino leave for Manchester United mid-season, but they are open to negotiations for him to leave at the end of the season.
The Argentine has emerged as one of the top managers to take over on a permanent basis following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last weekend.
The club have reached an agreement with Ralf Rangnick to take over as interim coach for six months until the end of the season.
However, the German will also be involved in the decision-making over the club’s next permanent manager as he is expected to take a two year consultancy role after his six month tenure in charge.
Report from Goal have revealed Pochettino remains the United board’s first choice to become permanent manager, but it is a situation that could change.
Talks between United and PSG through intermediaries happened earlier in the week where it was made clear the French side would not let their manager leave at the moment.
Meanwhile, it is believed Pochettino is unsatisfied with with life in Paris, feeling the strain of 11 months living out of a hotel room.
Publicly, the Argentine has reiterated his commitment to the Ligue 1 club, but reports claim the French giants would want a hefty compensation if he is leave the Parc Des Princes at the end of the season.
