According to The Times, Manchester United have a sweetener in the deal to bring highly-regarded coach Ralf Rangnick to Old Trafford.

The report claims the United hierarchy will not be paying Lokomotiv Moscow a compensation fee for Rangnick to join the club.

Meanwhile, the German is expected to receive a bonus if he wins a trophy or secures a place in next season’s Champions League for the club.

Currently, we are six points behind fourth-placed West Ham in the Premier League and have lost five of our last seven league matches.

The club would have played 14 games before German takes over. This means Rangnick will have 24 games to spark a turnaround and achieve set objectives for the season.
