Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow send message to new Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick
Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow have confirmed the departure of Ralf Rangnick to Manchester United, and wished him well in his stint at Old Trafford.
The German joined Russian side last summer as their head of sports and development.
Lokomitiv are currently fifth in the Russian Premier League and bottom of their Europa League group following last weekend’s defeat against Lazio.
Despite their current situation, Lokomotiv are optimistic the German would succeed at The Theatre of Dreams.
They tweeted: “The modern European system of football training, which Rangnik introduced at Lokomotiv, is not tied to personalities.
“We will continue after his departure. Lokomotiv thanks Ralf for work done. We remain in touch on future of our club + wish him every success at Manchester United.”
