Confirmed: Ralf Rangnick will not be in charge of Manchester United against Arsenal
Manchester United’s new interim manager, Ralf Rangnick will not be in charge when the Red Devils face Arsenal on Thursday, according to reports.
The German was appointed on a six-month contract on Monday, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal over a week ago. However, visa and Covid-19 protocols will not allow Rangnick tidy up in time for him to take the reigns on Thursday.
This means caretaker boss, Michael Carrick will continue to lead the team, like he’s done in the last one week.
Carrick has gotten his reign off to a good start, after recording a 2-0 victory in his first game, which was our away trip to Villareal on last Tuesday. The former midfielder also earned a draw against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, making it one win and a draw in his first two matches.
