Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, and former Liverpool defender, Jamie Caragher have predicted who they believe will win the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea are currently top of the league, with 30 points, while Manchester City trail them in second, with just one point.

Liverpool are then, third, with 28 points, following their impressive 4-0 win over Southampton last weekend, but for all the excellence of the Reds and the Blues this season, Keane believes Pep Guardiola’s side are the team to beat.

He told Sky Sports, “I kind of wrote off Manchester City last year and regretted it because they turned it on from November and won it so easily.

“At this moment in time, as brilliant as Liverpool and Chelsea are, I’d go with Man City.”

Caragher added, “It’s been a good weekend for Liverpool but they’ve dropped some silly points this season so I’m with Roy, I think I’d probably just go with Man City.

“Liverpool have kept a few clean sheets but they’ve looked a bit open at times. I think Man City right now look really strong defensively. Liverpool are scoring all the goals but I’d go with Man City right now.”

Manchester United are currently 8th on the table, after the draw at Chelsea on Sunday, and they trail the table toppers by 12 points.

United have definitely been ruled out of the league title race, but one thing we know for sure is that anything can still happen.
