Manchester United respond in style to Arteta’s threat

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had said before the game against Manchester United that he was ready to face Manchester United, and that his Arsenal team were prepared for this game.
Arteta said: “It is time to play them. We come here with the same level of preparation like we normally do. We need to start to rotate the team.
“Very difficult to predict [how Man Utd will play]. That was something we spoke about in preparation. We don’t know how much input he [Ralf Rangnick] has had into the team.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United responded in style as Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to ensure United come from behind to beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford, and earn their second win in eight Premier League games.
The Gunners went in front through an early goal from Emile Smith-Rowe, and looked set to go into the break with their lead, before Bruno Fernandes scored to equalise on the stroke of halftime.
United went ahead seven minutes into the second half, through a fine strike from Ronaldo, but it wasn’t long before Martin Odegaard scored to get the Gunners level.
Ronaldo then, scored a second from the penalty spot, after Fred was fouled in the box by Odegaard. The game finished 3-2 in favour of Man United, who are now seventh on the league table, with 23 points.
